20.09.2012: Bioboost Plenary Meeting in Pulawy

The BioBoost Consortium held the 2nd Plenary Meeting on 18th and 19th September in Pulawy, Poland at the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation (IUNG), which is the largest and the oldest governmental research centre in Poland dealing with agri-environment and crop production. The Consortium was welcomed by Head – Ass. Prof. Andrzej Doroszewski, who is head of the Department of Agrometeorology and Applied Informatics at the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation (IUNG). In BioBoost the department is responsible for the determination of the economic feedstock potential of agricultural residues, organic wastes and forestry residues in Eu25 + Switzerland. The meeting gave a good overview about the progress in the work packages and provided time for closer interaction of the partners. Coordinator Ralph Stahl (KIT) was satisfied with the results and status of the project after the first nine month. The Milestone Number 1 has been achieved and the project can be seen in time of its work plan schedule.
